Montana is known as the "Last Best Place" and I believe that Helena is Montana's "Last Best City in Montana," and I am happy to share it with you.  If you want to know why I think this, just email me and I'll happily respond lynda@helenamontana.us.com.

My photos of Helena are designed to help those who have never visited our beautiful city get a sense of what it would be like living here.  I plan on continuing to gather photos of not only the landscape, but the activities and it's citizens as they go about their daily lives here in our Montana Capital City, also known as the Queen City of Montana. 

Spring Meadow Lake Park with a view of Mount Helena in the background.  This is a relatively small spring fed lake in the city of Helena which is a favorite of walkers, joggers, fishermen, swimmers, and locals looking for a sweet place to just hang out and watch the waterfoul or picnic on a warm summer day.  Open daily from 1/2 hour after sunrise to 1/2 before sunset.  It's location is across from the Green Meadow Golf Course, a beautiful private golf course.  It is located on the west side of Helena and not far from the VA Hospital and National Guard.
